The VHS says Mystery Monsters so I'm going with that.I like this more than I think I should, yet I still don't like it. 99 to rent. I never want to see those alien dolls again but I could listen to evil mistress “ExEcUtIvE PrOdUcEr” and her russian henchman for hours.That witch lady thought she was gonna win and the goobers were like I’m a slave owner now!I genuinely laughed a few times. They don't get enough time in the movie to make the audience care one way or the other what they are.The attempts at humor fall flat, the "scares" are laughably tame, and the acting is terrible across the board. Tommy, the newest cast member of the popular childrens' program "Cap'n Mike's Goobers Show!," is excited and eager to be a part of the show and curious about the special effects employed. A little girl's imaginary friends come to life when she goes through her great-grandmother's antique mirror, a la Alice, after she sees it glowing.
