Very rarely comes an adaptation that utterly satisfies our nitpicky reader hearts, and thankfully, The casting is spot-on, especially David Tennant and Michael Sheen as Crowley and Aziraphale respectively. Interestingly, the forces of Heaven and Hell are equally gung-ho - both sides are desperate for peace to end, in order to finally prove themselves superior.

The conversation transpired as someone engaged with Neil Gaiman about the avoidance of the use of labels for Crowley’s and Aziraphale’s sexuality and romantic interactions. But you know what? Their story is so bright and captivating that it’s well worth watching, even if it makes the rest of the show pale by comparison.
He also doesn’t want to take away trans or nonbinary readings of them, either, and has given people room to assign a non cisgender reading of them. Michael Sheen (L) and David Tennant attend the Global premiere of Amazon Original "Good Omens" at The series is great fun, but somewhat wobbly; the budget doesn’t seem high enough to properly depict the fantastical elements (especially for those spoiled by HBO and Netflix), the acting can be questionable, and the sub-plots meandering. But where the series shines is through the very special friendship shared between the demon Crowley (David Tennant) and the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen).
