ENHANCING ASTRONOMICAL RESEARCH AND OBSERVATION
IN SOUTH-EAST EUROPE AND UKRAINE

Project N7: "The Rozhen Astronomical Observatory - Major facility for the
South-East European region"UNESCO-ROSTE (now BRESCE) supported this project with a
donation of a new CCD camera of type VersArray 1300B. This camera is now operational on
the 2-m telescope of Rozhen National Astronomical Observatory and used by SREAC
members.
The Institute of Astronomy, BAS, acknowledges with gratitude the donation of the
VersArray 1300B camera by UNESCO-ROSTE (now BRESCE, UNESCO Office in Venice).
