Varna Creativity House is situated 12 km on the northeast of Varna, 500 m from the beach. It is located between the tourist complexes “Golden Sands” and “St. Constantine and Helena”. It offers exceptionally good conditions for summer holidays and could be used as a starting base for tours of the entire northern Black Sea coast.
Varna (Bulgarian: Варна, pronounced [ˈvarnɐ]) is the third-largest city in Bulgaria and the largest city and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and in the Northern Bulgaria region. Situated strategically in the Gulf of Varna, the city has been a major economic, social, and cultural centre for almost three millennia. Historically known as Odessos (Ancient Greek: Ὀδησσός), Varna developed from a Thracian seaside settlement into a major seaport on the Black Sea. Varna is a significant hub for business, transportation, education, tourism, entertainment, and healthcare. The city is referred to as the maritime capital of Bulgaria and is home to the headquarters of the Bulgarian Navy and merchant marine.
Transport
Varna is accessible by air (Varna International Airport), sea (Port of Varna Cruise Terminal), railway (Central railway station), bus (Central bus station), and road. Major roads include European roads Varna – Bucharest E70, Varna – Istanbul E87 and Varna – Constanta, Romania; national motorways Varna – Sofia A2 (Hemus motorway) and Varna – Burgas A5 (Cherno More motorway). There are bus routes to many Bulgarian and international cities from two bus terminals.

Weather
Varna, due to its location on the Black Sea, draws many visitors who want to enjoy the warm and pleasant seaside climate, at least during the summer. However, in winter, it can get quite cold in Varna, especially when Siberian polar air reaches the Balkans. January is the coldest month, with average temperatures around 6°C. After a spring with often large temperature fluctuations, from June onward, summer weather increasingly dominates in Varna. With afternoon temperatures averaging between 24°C and 28°C, and August being the warmest month, summer is an ideal time to enjoy the coast. It’s no surprise that the beach hotels in Varna often see quite a bit of activity, and the city itself is vibrant during the summer. July, the sunniest month with 283 hours of sunshine, brings many warm summer evenings when both locals and tourists stay out late. Occasionally, a summer rain or thunderstorm may bring this to an end. August, the driest month with only 37 mm of rainfall, sees little disruption.
For those planning to visit in September, it’s good to keep in mind that temperatures start to gradually drop, and there is a slightly higher chance of unsettled weather. October is the wettest month, with 59 mm of rain.
