CCD
observations at Belogradchik Observatory
CCD
observations have been fulfilled since 1997. The camera in use is SBIG
ST-8 model, equipped with KAF1600 chip. The chip is 16 bit, 1530x1020
pixels, with possibilities to bin if necessary 2 x 2 and 3 x 3. The linear
dimensions are 13.8x9.2 mm (9x9 mm
pixel). CCD spectral sensitivity reaches maximum at 6750 A, and drops to
the half of it at approximately 4500 and 7500 A. The field in the main
focus is 6.4x4.2 arcmin, scale without binning 27.5”/mm, 0.25”/pixel. BVRcIc
Johnson-Cousins standard filters
are used. Another
filter set for comet photometry is available.
