They were so cold, not engaging whatsoever. I’m sure it is off putting for your guests. Highly recommend this place <3The food here is extremely high quality the dishes are marvelous and complex and the wait staff is very helpful and courteous.
The service is what really crushes it.
You just can’t beat the ambiance at Lurcat.We had a lovely dinner at Cafe Lurcat. Beautiful restaurantSecond time eating here. Sadly, we will not be returning.This restaurant was always our favorite, and was so glad to have it reopen-even if it was on the patio(which was really nice). Not to mention, the view was a homeless encampment in Loring Park. The Sea Bass is off the menu and replaced with Black Cod but still has that wonderful miso/mirin glaze. Ample space between tables...much more than expected. They never disappoint. I feel bad for all down town restaurants.
The service was great as always. This is easily my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. Thanks Lurcat!

We had a lovely dinner at Cafe Lurcat. The staff is amazing. I’d only recommend putting some sting lights above the patio for some more lighting but other than that, even the plastic chairs are actually pretty comfy.

The menu was full with delicious options - everything was perfect.Food is fantastic, service was top notch. For example, the he server and water boys were attentive despite slow delivery times in the kitchen. Both times I've wanted to love the place. It’s always a favorite place for us to go. The Sea Bass is off the menu and replaced with Black Cod but still has that wonderful miso/mirin glaze. Very romantic with great wine list. As long as the service remains at a high level I don't have an issue.
