I Recommend This Course Olde Stonewall Golf Club 1495 Mercer Rd Ellwood City, PA 16117-5021 Phone: (724) 752-4653 Website: www.oldestonewall.com Type: Daily Fee Category: Golf Club Par: 70 !We live about a little over an hour from Ellwood City and we finally got the chance to play Olde Stonewall.Started the round at 3:30pm and finished at 7:15 so pace was good, only issue was that we ran into a bunch of foursomes on the back 9, which slowed us down a little.In terms of what shape the course is in, for a Public course, Olde Stonewall was in just as good shape as some of the most exclusive private golf courses I've played.Greens ran extremely fast, some minor issues with a day of play and players not fixing their ball marks, but it was nothing to get hot and bothered about.Every hole was beautiful, especially on the back 9, with drastic changes in elevation. The staff is excellent and will get you going on schedule and will maintain a quick pace of play to add to everyone’s enjoyment. A must pay in Western Pennsylvania.We flew in from Florida to play this course and it did not disappoint. Copyright 2020 Golf Advisor.

Hole #2, ground keeper in a cart passed in front of me as I hit to green from fairway, came 1 foot from his head, hitting top of his cart. To say that the elevations are stunning does not still give it enough credit. I watched a bald eagle sore along the creek. Olde Stonewall Golf Club has great atmosphere and it always brings a smile to my face when I visit family in Western PA. The 4th hole at Olde Stonewall Golf Club. Cool 2. A very high quality experience.

Greens are excellent but not tricked up (maybe a couple are a little over the top if they speed them up).For scenic views, go to the back tees on 13 and 16 and you can see for miles. Left our contact info, no response.played 9 holes on saturday and was rained out. Olde Stonewall never disappoints....always in very good condition and challenging. Not for the faint of heart. In fact we played it the second day and have already planned a trip back up there in September.Olde stonewall is one of the best maintained golf courses in the area. New Castle, Pennsylvania Should be on everyone's to do list when in the area.Olde Stonewall is the undisputed king of daily fee golf surrounding Pittsburgh.
