Superb little models, they look great. Bandai Hobby Star Wars 1/12 Plastic Model R2-D2 (Rocket Booster Ver.) This is an asynchronous tokio-based version of r2d2.. All blue and white pieces come perfectly prepainted. The paint job is pretty good compared to some other model kits as in it doesnt really need painting if you want to leave it like it is.

Documentation. The plastic that R2D2 is made of shows a little more flaws (where you snipped the plastic). Highly recomended . Fantastic little kit(s) , well up to Bandai's usual standard when it comes to their Star Wars models . R2's not bad, would have liked a bit more of a metallic look to his head (if you're keen I'd suggest painting the silver head parts a more realistic colour before assembling him). They look great when finished and I recommend them. bb8 can have a transparent arm holding his head so you can have the head tilted to one side which is a nice touch and both have numerous attachments like bb8's welding arm.
