— Marco to Jean Kirstein.

This theory will consist of theories i have found in and around fandom wikia and my own research.NOTE: Most of the theories i'll post will contain some spoilers so please, don't read any further if you don't wish to see them. There are many look alikes within the anime and manga however, both Marco Bodt and Samuel Linke-Jackson are very similar. While everyone was preoccupied, before jean even discovered the body, Marco could've possibly Healed. I decided to write a really long post on observations/evidence from both sides of the theory. 0 comments. Eren and Armin… (感動)   THERE IS A VERY POSSIBLE CHANCE MARCO MAY APPEAR AS A TITAN IN S4 OF THE ANIME!! Marco's picture keeps showing up in Also, Marco repeatedly is grouped with RBA (Reiner, Bertholt, Annie), the other Titan shifters, in the mangaThe GIF, supposedly showing the leg of Marco's corpse moving in the anime, has been announced to be a fake by the person who edited it Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. Normally, when a character dies in the manga, their bio sheet picture (at the beginning of each manga) is shown in the following volume with an X. Attack on Titan Part 1: Guren no Yumiya; Attack on Titan Part 2: Jiyuu no Tsubasa; Attack on Titan: Roar of Awakening; Attack on Titan: Chronicle; Attack on Titan, The Movie: Part 1; Attack on Titan… Marcos death was confirmed in the manga but, it is unconfirmed currently within the anime.Samuel got bad wounds when the Collosal Titan (Reiner) struck the wall.

Marco's Death There has been many different thories that Marco isn't actually dead.

Samuel might've died, so marco found his body and faked his death by using Samuel's body. This could be due to the corpse deteriorating however, it may possibly be Samuel despite the fact that he has silver eyes. Jean discovered the corpse but, mistakes about the body might've been made as it may possibly be Samuels not Marcos. There has been many different thories that Marco isn't actually dead. A piece of debris knocked Samuel out and Sasha saved him. Both characters have very similar features: facial structure, hairstyle and colour. However their is many differences between the two: eye colour, the freckles and the clothes. In the anime and manga, not many of the dead soldiers could be identifyed. It may not be Marco.to conclude this theory, in the manga when a character dies their biography picture (At the beginning of each manga) is shown in the following volume with a large X through it however, Marcos character sheet appears and stays within the books throughout. Many parts of the anime can be compared to WWII.

Why? This could be a hint to the fact Marco is a titan shifter and is actually alive. If you guys made it this far, thanks for reading about my theory. I've seen so many Marco-related theories on Shingeki no Kyojin tumblrs, and all of them are pretty interesting! This isn't an out-there theory like many of the others, especially when you consider Mikasa's character. Samuel may have gotten caught by a titan and half eaten. The colour of the corpses eyes are light brown in the anime just like Marcos. When Jean discovers the corpse, he realises who it is and doesn't mention that it isnt Marco. Thanks for reding guys!I believe Marco is alive. Its unlikely he returned to HQ and was fit enough to take part in the battle for Trost. I mean...most humans are weak, including me...but if I got an order from someone who saw things as I do...no matter how tough it was, I'd do my damnedest to carry it out. Fans believe the show is an analogy of World War II.

I'm not necessarily trying to prove whether Marco is alive or dead, I'm simply gathering observations made from a bunch of websites and putting them together so you can ponder over it too :) was a trainee (訓練兵 Kunren-hei?) That WAS Marco.

Either the writer is playing mindtricks on us or Marco isn't actually dead and will make a comeback in the anime in season 3.Also Marco is repeatedly seen within the manga and anime with Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie the three other titan shifters. Marco's Death Scene Using the observations above, many theories have been formed that the corpse Jean finds is not Marco's, but someone else's, mainly Samuel's.
