The Clinical Care Extender Program is designed to be a rigorous, year-long internship, during which you will learn a lot about the field of health care and a lot about yourself. Is there a fee for this internship? (besides the $10 application fee)? 401k (Employer Contributions) CARE contributes 4% of your eligible earnings.
They do this to gain experience working in a health care environment, experience they can later parlay into a career in the health care industry. Care Extenders are respected as professional members of a patient care team. Interns receive training to participate in basic patient care tasks as they rotate and learn among the different departments within the hospital.
