Picks up in places.Highways England South West have shown what the M5 looks like this afternoon.Cars can be seen closely packed together as people rush to destinations in the South West.The queues have formed between the Almondsbury Interchange and Weston-super-Mare.There is heavy congestion on the M5 Southbound this afternoon.Highways England South West have reported the unusually large volume of traffic between Weston-super-Mare and the Almondsbury Interchange.They have urged travellers to check their vehicles are roadworthy before setting off.The incident happened just after 10.45am on the A39 Homburg Way between junctions for B3339 Wembdon Rise to Trinity Way.Emergency services are at the scene as they investigate the collision.Drivers are being advised that the A30 in Cornwall near Launceston is currently closed in both directions with delays along the A30 and diversion route.The closure is between the Pennygillam and Lifton junctions on the A388.
