We only stayed a short while, but you can really get into it and stay for hours if you want. My wife enjoyed it at first, but I didn't move through the galleries quick enough to her liking. They have a nice gift shop too.I thought this little gem was fun and informative, so much history in one room!! It showcases so many different cars from so many different eras.Nice place but I would like to see newer cars, too many cars from the early 1900's. The museum also features the 1907 Thomas Flyer from the 1908 New York to Paris race and the Martin T car from the hot and steamy love scene in "Titanic.". There’s free parking, and it’s accessible to public transporation. Located along the banks of the Truckee River in downtown Reno.Although lots of beautiful cars it is not a welcoming place. The docents said it is considered one of the top 5 of the hotel-casino chain, and he only collected world-class automobiles. It is located next to the Arch in Central Reno. There is a lot here and the history is quite interesting. Better than I expected from a guy who isn't that enthusiastic about cars. The National Automobile Museum in Reno is ranked as one of the top five automobile museums in the world and contains many of the 1,400 vehicles from the Bill Harrah collection. The vehicles are pristine and displayed well. Well, I ended up spending nearly 3 hours here. It's a Gem in the AAA guidebook and I can see why. This is a very cool museum.
