I don't read a lot of science fiction, but when I do it is most often Philip K. Dick or Tepper. It’s a very engaging story and I found myself reading it solidly to see how it would end.I read this book for our book club, and that's pretty much the only reason I would have picked it up. Instead of interpreting God's actions in nature, for example, they interpret nature in the light of the Scripture. Emasculated males don't work well. The acting is good, the special effects are brilliant and story genuinly creepy. Arrived on time and the book looks great. I had the knife just for that reason. But through the years I've transitioned from hard copy to Kindle and Audible, so I can synchronize my reading and listening. I do blame the mothers for a lot of the problems, I saw it in my own family and in the family. Sure, the plot kept me going, but I resent anyone, male or female, who confuses feminism with man-hating. The division of genders into Women's Country and the Warrior society is a deeply unsettling one. Women don't have to make choices like that in Hades.
