Welcome to Nevada Women's Basketball Camps! Your final grade will reflect the letter grades you have received in all of the projects.

This is enhanced by the incredible geologic setting of these exercises, which includes several world-class geologic sites in eastern Nevada, in the heart of the Basin and Range province, and in eastern California, where the Basin and Range meets the Sierra Nevada.Students will traverse the North American Cordillera during field exercises across Nevada and Utah, with especially memorable field trips to Great Basin National Park and the Snake Range metamorphic core complex.Courses in mineralogy/petrology, sedimentology/stratigraphy, structural geology, and field methods. COVID-19 updates: A letter grade will be generated from your performance on projects in each session, as well as from the final project. In light of this evolving situation, we will be running an online Field Camp experience that will operate from The Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, offers a comprehensive, capstone, five-week, six-credit summer geology field camp class. This three-week program examines microeconomic and macroeconomic principles and teaches students how they can be applied to everyday problems and social issues. Courses are taught by university faculty, and three college credits (which may be transferable to other universities and some high school programs) are awarded after successful completion. applicants must be U.S. citizens, nominated by an educator, and have passed Algebra II Students will also need to submit a narrative essay—no longer than two double-spaced pages—introducing themselves, expressing their interest in THINK, what they hope to gain from the program, and what they will contribute to the program. A course evaluation will be provided at the end of each weekly exercises your anonymous feedback. Students participating in THINK are enrolled as UNR students and receive a UNR student ID card and a UNR transcript after completing their courses. If you find it impossible to follow these rules or to give us your best efforts, you may be leaving the field camp early and without any credit. We also change around the teams for each exercise. Nevada has been involved in 4-H camping since the first 4-H camp took place on the University of Nevada, Reno campus in 1930.
