The May May Restaurant is now called Windy May May as the owners of the Windy Café in Windermere move to Cranbrook. Service was quick. Fresh, served up hot and tasty.A group of old friends got together and we went here. The selection here can appeal to anyone whether you eat/don't eat meat, seafood, etc. If you want better Chinese go to Marco Polo but order from the menu there as the buffet is also usually dried out and all battered and deep fried.Not much to choose from. They have a lunch/dinner smorg with a ton of fresh selection. Sorry, the people who rated this place 3*'s and higher really don't know what they're missingI love the reasonably priced smorg they have here. Went with my family for a lunch buffet, barely any options, lots of the food had bones, chow main noodles were hard and crunchy, dumplings were burnt. Service was excellent,staff were very friendly. It was OK, but not very appetizing. I did not try all the items in the buffet but found the Bbq chicken delicious.Good selection of traditional Chinese. Very good food. May May Chinese They have added dumplings that are pretty tasty...All in all...As of July 1, 2014, the former owners of the Windy Cafe in Windermere, BC have taken over the May May (now the Windy May May) and their food is always awesome. An authentic Chinese smorgasbord in the heart of Cranbrook, il take seconds.I've never had a bad experience here. The "beef" was something indescribable.
