The M60 Manchester Outer Ring Road is a trundling loop of more than thirty miles that forms the hub of the dense motorway network serving Lancashire, and includes - by some measures at least - the busiest section of motorway in Between the junctions now numbered 8 and 9, between Stretford and Urmston, when that part of the M60 was the M62 (Stretford - Eccles bypass), there was a junction (numbered 5) where the M60 now crosses over the B5213 (Stretford Road), with slips in the south quadrants only, useful for people going between that area and south Manchester; see this map.

For this option we’d build a new loop structure to provide a free-flow link from the M60 eastbound to the M60 southbound.
